action
Zeki Müller has just got out of jail and wants to get his booty. But at the point where his accomplice Charlie hid the loot is the new gym of the Goethe Comprehensive School. Without further ado, Zeki wants to take the position of caretaker, but is mistakenly hired as the new substitute teacher by Director Gerster.
His colleague, the overly correct Lisi Schnabelstedt, condemns his unorthodox methods in the strongest possible terms. But since she is overwhelmed with problem class 10b, Zeki takes over the class. During swimming lessons, Lisi has to realize that Zeki's methods are effective and that the class has respect for him.
Zeki puzzles over Lisi's time capsule project. Because he learns about the life dreams and the lack of prospects of the students. He is torn between the students, Lisi and the prey.
background
The musical was based on the model of the film Fack ju Göhte by Bora Drachtkin from 2013. The film was very successful and received numerous awards, which meant that there was great potential for a musical implementation. Many dialogues and situations are based on the film.
In mid-August 2017, Stage Entertainment Germany announced that Fack ju Göhte would start as a musical. The company chose Munich as the venue . The conversion of the former Pfanni potato warehouse into Plant 7 cost the company five million euros. The director of the musical was Christoph Drewitz . Rehearsals began on December 13, 2017. At the end of May 2018, it was announced that the musical would be discontinued on September 9, 2018 and thus at the end of the planned minimum running time. According to the production company Stage Entertainment , around 58,000 spectators had attended the musical by then, which was only a “satisfactory” occupancy.
