The Werk 7 (also called: Theater in the Werksviertel Munich ) is a musical theater of the Stage Entertainment Group in the Munich Werksviertel at the Ostbahnhof in the Berg am Laim district . The theater was closed indefinitely on October 27, 2019.

In 2015 it was decided to demolish the cult factory and build the new Werksviertel, including Plant 7 . Pfanni's former potato warehouse (workshop 7) was converted into a theater between 2016 and 2018, which covers an area of ​​1,500 m² and offers space for almost 700 visitors. On October 18, 2017, Werk 7 celebrated the topping-out ceremony as one of the first buildings in the Werksviertel . A special feature of the theater is the 180-degree stage, which enables the actors to play on three sides. The renovation cost around six million euros.

It is Stage Entertainment's first theater in Munich and will be leased by this company until 2028. On October 27, 2019, the theater with the Dernière of The fabulous world of Amélie was closed indefinitely.

On January 21, 2018, the musical theater opened with the world premiere of the musical Fack ju Göhte - The Musical by Simon Triebel , Nicolas Rebscher and Kevin Schroeder on behalf of Stage Entertainment Germany, based on the film of the same name .
