Fajão - Vidual , is a Portuguese parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Pampilhosa da Serra . It covers an area of 79.59 km² and has 317 inhabitants (as of 2011 figures).
The municipality was created in the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal on September 29, 2013, when the previous municipalities Fajão and Vidual merged . Fajão became the seat of the new community.
Occasionally, the new community is simply named after the main town of Fajão. This is known as a place on the Aldeias do Xisto slate village route .
