Fan Jianhong

Fan, Jianhong ( Chinese  范劍虹 , Pinyin Fàn Jiànhóng ; born December 18, 1958 in Ningbo , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese law scholar and full professor at the Law School of the University of Macau . Arbitrator in the International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC-South China) and Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) as well as arbitrator in Macau's World Trade Center.

Life

Fan Jianhong worked in a branch of the Ministry of Transportation of the People's Republic of China from 1975 to 1980. He studied from 1980 to 1984 German and 1985 to 1988 jurisprudence in China ( Hangzhou ), and from 1988 to 1997 law in Germany ( Kiel and Freiburg ). From 1995 to 1997 he was a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg. In 1990 he received LL.M. (first reviewer: Rüdiger Wolfrum), in 1997 he received his doctorate in Freiburg (first reviewer: Manfred Löwisch). 1997/98 he worked for the law firm Wessing, Berenberg-Gossler, Zimmermann, Lange . From 1998 to 2000 he was an associate professor at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou. Since November 2000 he was also a lecturer ("associate professor") at the University of Macau.

He is currently a full professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Macau, where he teaches comparative private law , corporate and competition law , and international business law. He is the author of numerous scientific publications. He is also an arbitrator at the World Trade Center in Macau and an arbitrator in the International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC-South China) and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA).
