The FAF - Color, Finishing & Facade is a European trade fair for facade and room design, which is considered the world's leading trade fair for the painting and varnishing trade . It has taken place every three years since the first event in 1972. Since 1984 Munich and Cologne have alternated as trade fair cities. It is organized by the Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen (GHM).

The trade fair specializes in the subjects of paint , finishing , facade , building protection , plaster , stucco and drywall .
Idea sponsors and partnerships
The notional sponsors of the fair are the Federal Association of Color Design, Building Protection and the Federal Association of Interior Construction and Facades in the Central Association of the German Building Industry . In 2007 the net exhibition area was 27,160 m². In 2010 the fair had 442 exhibitors and 48,000 visitors.
