Faris Ramli (born August 24, 1992 in Singapore ), with full name Muhammad Faris bin Ramli , is a Singaporean football player .

Faris Ramli is the brother of Fuad Ramli .

Career

Faris Ramli learned to play football at the National Football Academy in Singapore. He signed his first contract with the Young Lions in 2010 . The Young Lions are a U23 team that was founded in 2002. U23 national players and perspective players play in the team . They should be given the opportunity to collect match practice in the first division, the S. League . For the Lions , he completed 48 games in the first division. In 2013 he moved to the Singapore LionsXII . The Lions Twelve were a soccer club from Singapore that played in Malaysia's top division , the Malaysia Super League , from 2012 to 2015 . Here he was under contract until the end of 2015. In 2013 he became champion with the club. In 2014 he was loaned out to his former club, the Young Lions, for three games. He was voted Player of the Year in 2017. In 2018 he moved back to Malaysia, where he was signed by the first division club PKNS FC from Petaling Jaya . After 21 games and six goals, he signed a contract with league rivals Perlis FA in early 2019 . After Perlis was banned from the association, he signed a contract with Hougang United, also playing in the first division, in early February 2019 . In early 2020 he was signed by the Terengganu FA .

Faris Ramli played thirteen times for the Singapore U23 national team from 2011 to 2015 . Since 2010 he has been playing for the Singapore senior team .
