Farmer Island is a 22 km long and icy island in the Marshall Archipelago off the Saunders coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It is located 10 km north of Radford Island in the Sulzberger Ice Shelf .

Participants in the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) roughly mapped them. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1966 after Floyd L. Farmer (1916-1993) of the United States Navy , chief locksmith on the icebreaker USS Glacier , which operated between 1961 and 1962 along the Saunders coast.
