The Faro de Arenas Blancas (also Faro de Salemera ) is a lighthouse on the southeast coast of the Canary Island of La Palma, which belongs to Spain , in the municipality of Villa de Mazo near the beach of La Salemera. The tower is operated by the Autoridad Portuaria de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Port Authority for the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife ).

The cylindrical, white and single tower made of concrete with a rounded top is 38 meters high. It was opened in 1992 as a navigation aid for coastal shipping on the east coast of the island. The tower stands on a small cliff directly on the Atlantic Ocean , about eight meters above sea level . In the dome there is a balcony on the seaward side, behind the horizontal windows there is the 500 mm lens. The light intensity is 110,000 cd , the range of the white light is around 20 nautical miles . The lighthouse is registered under the international number D-2849 and the national identifier 13025.
The tower is one of four operational lighthouses on the island of La Palma: Faro de Punta Cumplida is in the north, Faro de Fuencaliente in the south and Faro de Punta Lava in the west .
