The Fatlarspitze is 2986  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Verwall group in the Austrian Tyrol .

Location and surroundings

The Fatlarspitze lies within the cartel group in Verwall. The next higher mountain is the Saumspitze, about 1 km further west . To the northwest lies the Kartellferner with the Kartellsee . The Hoppe-Seyler-Weg runs south and east of the Fatlarspitze from the Niederelbehütte via the Kieler Wetterhütte (which is about 0.3 km east of the summit) to the Darmstädter Hütte .

Routes to the summit

The normal route to the Fatlarspitze leads from the Kieler Wetterhütte in difficulty II on the UIAA scale to the summit in one hour.
