The Kieler Wetterhütte is an Alpine Club hut of the Kiel section of the German Alpine Club in Verwall and is located in Tyrol , Austria .
Location and facilities
The always unlocked self-catering hut on the Fatlarscharte towers above Ischgl in a panoramic position, 1500 m above the Paznaun Valley. At the Fatlarscharte, the Älschnerkamm , which descends to the east to the Paznaun valley, branches off from the Verwall main ridge. A stove is available, wood should be brought. There is no electricity or solar panels, so there is no electrical lighting in the hut.
