The Faye is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . Its source is in the Monts du Forez , on the municipal boundary of La Chambonie and Le Brugeron , which is also the border between the Loire and Puy-de-Dôme departments . The Faye generally drains with two large north loops in a westerly direction through the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park and, after a total of 25 kilometers, flows into the Dore as a right tributary at the municipal boundary of Augerolles and Olliergues .
