Le Brugeron is located about 51 kilometers east-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand in the Livradois ( Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park ). Le Brugeron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of la Renaudie in the north, La Chambonie and La Chamba in the northeast, Chalmazel-Jeansagnière in the east, Saint-Pierre-la-Bourlhonne in the south, Marat in the southwest and Olmet in the west.
