Saint-Just is a French municipality with 157 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Ambert and the canton of Ambert (until 2015 canton of Viverols ).

Saint-Just is located about 60 kilometers southeast of Clermont-Ferrand in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park . Neighboring municipalities of Saint-Just are Saint-Martin-des-Olmes in the north and north-west, Grandrif in the north, Baffie in the north-east, Églisolles in the east, Viverols in the east and south-east, Medeyrolles in the south, Beurières in the west and south-west, Chaumont-le- Bourg in the west and Marsac-en-Livradois in the west and north-west.

history

Until 1872, the localities of Saint-Just and Baffie were still united in the municipality of Saint-Just-de-Baffie and were then split up.
