Sainte-Catherine (also: Sainte-Catherine-du-Fraisse ) is a French commune with a population of 52 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Ambert and the canton of Les Monts du Livradois (until 2015 canton of Saint-Germain-l'Herm ). The inhabitants are called Sainte-Catherinois .

geography

Sainte-Catherine is located about 51 kilometers south-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park . Neighboring municipalities of Sainte-Catherine are Le Vernet-Chaméane with Vernet-la-Varenne in the north and northwest, Saint-Germain-l'Herm in the east, Peslières in the south and Champagnat-le-Jeune in the west.
