Doranges is a French municipality with 159 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Ambert and the Canton of Ambert (until 2015 Arlanc ).

Doranges is located about 58 kilometers southeast of Clermont-Ferrand and about 65 kilometers west of Saint-Étienne in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park . Doranges is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Bonnet-le-Bourg in the north, Novacelles in the northeast, Saint-Sauveur-la-Sagne in the east, Saint-Alyre-d'Arlanc in the south and southeast, Laval-sur-Doulon in the southwest, Saint-Vert to the west and south-west and Fayet-Ronaye to the north-west.
