La Chapelle-Agnon is a French municipality with 346 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Ambert and the canton of Les Monts du Livradois (until 2015: canton of Cunlhat ). The inhabitants are called Chapeloux .

La Chapelle-Agnon is located about 46 kilometers east-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park . Neighboring municipalities of La Chapelle-Agnon are Saint-Gervais-sous-Meymont in the north, Marat in the northeast, Bertignat in the east and southeast, Grandval in the south, Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine in the southwest, Cunlhat in the west and Tours-sur-Meymont in the north-west.
