Fayet-Ronaye is a French municipality with 106 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Ambert and the canton of Les Monts du Livradois (until 2015 canton of Saint-Germain-l'Herm ).

Fayet-Ronaye is located about 45 kilometers south-southeast of Clermont-Ferrand in the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park . The municipality is crossed by the Doulon River. Neighboring municipalities of Fayet-Ronaye are Saint-Germain-l'Herm in the north, Saint-Bonnet-le-Bourg in the east, Doranges in the south-east, Saint-Vert in the south, Chassignolles in the west and south-west, and Saint-Martin-d'Ollières in the West as well as Peslières to the west and northwest.
