It borders Noirétable to the north-west, Saint-Jean-la-Vêtre to the north-east and east, Jeansagnière to the south-east, La Chambonie to the south and Vollore-Montagne to the west . The Col de la Loge pass crossing at 1253 connects the village with Chalmazel .
