Grammond is a French municipality with 906 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Montbrison and the canton of Feurs (until 2015 Chazelles-sur-Lyon ).

Grammond is located about 15 kilometers north-northeast of Saint-Étienne and 40 kilometers southwest of Lyon in the historic province of Forez . Grammond is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Chazelles-sur-Lyon in the north and west, Saint-Denis-sur-Coise in the north, Châtelus in the northeast, Marcenod in the east, Saint-Christo-en-Jarez in the southeast and Fontanès in the south and southwest.
