The Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol (English: Puerto Rican Football Federation ) is the national football association of Puerto Rico . The association was founded in 1940 and has been a member of FIFA since 1960.

The Puerto Rican Football Association is responsible for the organization of the amateur league Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Puerto Rico . The most successful team, the Puerto Rico Islanders FC , play in the North American Soccer League (2011) , the second highest division in North America.
