The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) is the football association in Antigua and Barbuda . It was founded in 1928 and joined CONCACAF in 1970 and FIFA in 1972 .
Competitions
The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association oversees the administration of the football league in Antigua and Barbuda. There are a total of three leagues for men and one for women. The men play in the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division , First Division and Second Division, while the women play in the Female Division . In addition, the ABFA organizes the Antigua and Barbuda FA Cup .
National stadium
The official national stadium of Antigua and Barbuda is the Antigua Recreation Ground on Antigua, in which qualifying games for the football World Cup can take place. The attempt to turn the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium into a stadium for international football matches failed due to "ongoing construction work".
