Federico Dimarco (born November 10, 1997 in Milan ) is an Italian football player who is currently under contract with Inter Milan .

Career

Federico Dimarco played for Inter Milan in his hometown during his youth . In the 2014/15 season he was appointed to the professional squad and made his debut on matchday 38 against FC Empoli when he came on for Rodrigo Palacio in the 89th minute . He started the new 2015/16 season with the second team from Inter Milan and was loaned to Ascoli Picchio FC 1898 for the second half of the season, where he made a total of 15 appearances. In the 2016/17 season he was loaned to FC Empoli and made 12 appearances. The season ended in 18th place in the table, which meant relegation to Serie B.

For the 2017/18 season Dimarco was signed by the Swiss super league club FC Sion , who paid Inter Milan a transfer fee of four million euros . He signed a four-year contract. After the first season at Sion, Dimarco was transferred back to his home club Inter Milan for a transfer fee of seven million euros.

National team

Dimarco has so far played for various Italian junior national teams. He currently plays in the U-20 team , where he made his debut in September 2016 in a 1-0 win over Germany .
