The 2018/19 field season began on September 1, 2018.

The final round of the four best-placed teams will take place together with the men on the weekend of May 18 and 19, 2019 in Krefeld at the Crefeld HTC .

Relegated to the 2. Bundesliga 19/20 are the Bremen HC in the group north and TSV Mannheim in the group south.

Newcomers from the 2nd Bundesliga 18/19 are the Großflottbeker THGC from the north group and the Rüsselsheim RK from the south group.
