history
Feldkirchen is mentioned in a document in the traditions of the Hochstift Freising in 1098. The Catholic Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary is a branch church of St. Michael in Inkofen . Structurally, it is a three-aisled hall church from the 14th century, redesigned around 1500. In the course of the formation of the community after the second community edict , the community Niederambach was formed in 1818 , to which Feldkirchen also belonged. On January 1, 1976, the Niederambach community (with Oberambach, Feldkirchen and Kirchamper) was incorporated into Moosburg.
