Troll is a hamlet and part of the city of Moosburg an der Isar in the Upper Bavarian district of Freising .

geography

The settlement, which consists of only a few buildings, is located four kilometers southeast of the core town of Moosburg at the confluence of the Strogen with the Sempt at the northern end of the Munich gravel plain in the midst of agricultural areas.

On old topographical maps from 1890 the name “Trollmühle” can be found, which was replaced by “Troll” in 1943. Until January 1st, 1978 Troll was a district of Pfrombach , which was then incorporated into Moosburg.
