Martin Wangler (born July 11, 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German actor and cabaret artist who is best known for the role of "Bernd Clemens" in the SWR series Die Fallers and for his cabaret character "Fidelius Waldvogel".

Life

Martin Wangler was born on July 11, 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau. He lives with his family in Breitnau , where he attended elementary and secondary school until 1984. This was followed by training as a carpenter . 1991-1994 made Wangler the High School on the second chance . In 1995 he began his acting training at the " Mozarteum " University in Salzburg, which he completed in 1999 with a " Magister artium ". This was followed by engagements at the Salzburg Festival , the Landestheater Innsbruck , the State Theater Oldenburg and until 2003 at the Stadttheater Ingolstadt .

Wangler has been a freelance actor, cabaret artist and musician since 2005. In his evening programs, which appeared from 2005, he embodies the figure of the Black Forest "Fidelius Waldvogel". Since 2016 he has been driving his “Fidelius Waldvogel - Heimat.tour” for around three weeks in the summer with a vintage tractor and an original touring stage across the Black Forest. Since 2006, Wangler can be seen in the role of "Bernd Clemens" in the SWR Black Forest series " Die Fallers ". He also appears in various film projects and guest roles such as B. in the crime scene .

Wangler has been the artistic director of the Black Forest Cabaret Festival since 2009. He is the initiator and main participant in the maintenance and dissemination of the Baden card game Cego , for which he gives annual Cego courses at the VHS Hochschwarzwald. From 2003 to 2014 he worked as a role player at the Audi Academy in Ingolstadt and is also a speaker at SWR radio.

In his cabaret programs, Martin Wangler always appears in his dialect character Fidelius Waldvogel. Fidelius Waldvogel is a down-to-earth native of the Black Forest, farmer, poacher and nature boy, who deals with various topics from his areas of life musically and poetically.

Wangler works with the dialect rock group LUDDI (“ Dialect rocker meets couch potato ”) and with the Swabian cabaret artist Heike Sauer alias Marlies Blume (“Baden meets Schwaben” and others).
