Felice Civitareale

Felice Civitareale (* 1953 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgish jazz and entertainment musician ( trumpet , flugelhorn ).

Live and act

During his musical training at the Conservatory in Luxembourg and at the Musikhochschule in Munich with Paul Lachenmaier, Civitareale gained musical experience in renowned European jazz clubs at the age of 18 .

Civitareale first played in Munich in the orchestras of Hugo Strasser and Max Greger , still in Harald Rüschenbaum Jazz Orchestra ( Rondo ) and the Thilo Wolf Big Band ( Swing It! , Latin grooves ). He published the instrumental album Melodien des Lebens (2015) under his own name ; as Felice he appeared several times in music programs and record productions by Carolin Reiber , Andy Borg and Hansi Hinterseer and presented melodies as a solo trumpeter. As a soloist he worked for many years with the SWR Big Band before becoming a permanent member in 2003 and participating in numerous productions. Tom Lord recorded 27 productions by him in the field of jazz between 1987 and 2015. As a studio musician , he can be heard on productions by Konstantin Wecker , Frank Farian ( Milli Vanilli ), the Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra and Lou Bega (" Mambo No. 5 "), but also in movies (including Der Schuh des Manitu ) and in television series .
