Felix Rolf Baur (born May 12, 1992 in Heidelberg ; † December 22, 2013 in Winterthur ) was a Swiss cyclist .

Felix Baur started cycling at RMV Elgg and was trained there by the former Swiss champion Godi Schmutz . In 2010 he won a stage of the GP Rüebliland for juniors and was fourth in the overall ranking of the Luxembourg junior race GP Général Patton . At the 2010 UCI Road World Championships for Juniors , he finished 45th in the road race.

In 2011, Baur was signed to the UCI Continental Team Atlas Personal-Jakroo after riding as a stagiaire at Price your Bike in 2011 . He was also part of the Swiss national team. In 2013 he achieved his greatest success with eighth place in the Tour of Bern .

On December 18, 2013, Felix Baur was hit by a car while training on the road in Spain and suffered severe head injuries. Four days later he died at the age of 21 in the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital .

Baur's sister, Caroline , is also a successful cyclist (Swiss junior champion in the individual time trial 2013).
