Felix Fischer (chemist)
Felix Fischer (born January 18, 1855 in Vienna ; † February 9, 1927 there ) was an Austrian chemist .
Life
Felix Fischer studied since 1871 at the Polytechnic in Zurich and entered 1874 in the later with the Apollo candle factory merged company of his father, the soap factory "Felix Fischer" a. Fischer then acted as a partner and as the technical manager of the Apollo candle factory, from 1911 also as the technical manager of the Viennese operations of the Aussiger Georgschicht AG. After 1918, Fischer was the vice-president of the Austrian Georgschicht AG Stammtisch company "Winter-Igel" represented. He was also friends with Ludwig Anzengruber and was one of the co-founders and sponsors of the German People's Theater in Vienna. Felix Fischer died in Vienna in 1927 at the age of 72.
Act
Felix Fischer invented a plate casting machine that made it possible to shape the liquid soap into plates in just a few hours, which could then be pressed and cut into pieces immediately.
