Felix Martin (born September 21, 1995 in Eschwege ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

There he is a member of the Council of Elders, the Budget Committee and the Committee for Social Affairs and Integration. Martin is spokesman for his parliamentary group for the labor market, training, local finances, youth, anti-discrimination and queer politics.

After graduating from high school, Martin studied political science and sociology for three semesters at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. He then completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Sparkasse Göttingen . He continued this part-time alongside his parliamentary activity and successfully completed it in January 2020.

In October 2013 Martin became a member of the board of the Werra-Meißner district association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen for the first time. During his high school graduation he was involved as a district school spokesman and in youth work. From 2015 to 2017 he was a member of the Hessian state board of the Green Youth . He then became district spokesman for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. In 2017 he also moved up to the district council in the Werra-Meißner district .

Martin has been a volunteer member of the board of trustees of the Werra-Meißner-Kreis community foundation since 2014. With the board of the Sportjugend Werra-Meißner he was one of the winners of the Hessian Demography Prize in 2018.

In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , Martin stood in the Eschwege-Witzenhausen constituency and entered the Hessian state parliament via 18th place on the state list of Alliance 90 / The Greens .
