The Feodora II is a former excursion and butter ship operated by Kieler Verkehrs AG .
history
Friedrichsort
The ship, built with construction number 1379 at the Kröger shipyard in Rendsburg , was taken over as Friedrichsort on April 4, 1972 by Kieler Verkehrs AG . From April 6th it was used on the Kiel Fjord .
In October 1977 the charter took place to the shipping company W. Freter GmbH & Co. KG in Heiligenhafen .
Sven Johannsen
On October 8, 1979, the ship was sold to Walter Johannsen in Lübeck and was named Sven Johannsen on October 17 . From Travemünde it was used for excursions and burials at sea.
Feodora II
In 2014, Alexander Klein bought the ship from Nordische Ausflug Schifffahrts GmbH (NAS) in Husby . The company runs alternately from Laboe , Damp and Langballigau . In addition, burials at sea and special trips are on offer.
After a break for years, an excursion ship, the Feodora II, has again been calling at the Danish port in Sønderborg on June 1, 2016 . Due to the strict regulations of the Danish maritime authority Søfartsstyrelsen , the ship had to be equipped for use on this international line for around 150,000 euros for individual acceptance by the Danish authority, for example in order to meet the requirements for a fully automatic extinguishing and fire alarm system according to SOLAS .
