Ferdinand Green

Ferdinand Grün (born November 30, 1886 in Diedesfeld , † December 14, 1968 ) was a Hessian politician ( center , CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

Ferdinand Grün attended elementary school and the Academy of Labor in Frankfurt am Main . He worked as a workers secretary, government councilor and head of the Wiesbaden employment office.

Member of the Center Party since 1908. For these he was from 1919 to 1931 city councilor and from 1931 to 1933 honorary city councilor in Wiesbaden. After the seizure of power of the Nazis , he was able to continue its political and trade union work only underground. He was arrested in August 1944.

After the Second World War he was one of the founders of the CDU Hessen . From 1946 to 1953 he was again city councilor, from 1953 to 1956 honorary city councilor 1956 city elder in Wiesbaden.

From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 he was a member of the State Assembly of Greater Hesse, which advised the constitution, and from December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1950, a member of the Hessian State Parliament. In 1949 he was a member of the 1st Federal Assembly .
