Ferdinand Hesse

Hermann Carl Ferdinand Hesse (born August 6, 1882 in Braunschweig , † November 2, 1964 in Ebersbach, Dresden district , later to Ebersbach-Neugersdorf , Saxony ) was a German journalist , writer and theater founder.

Life

Ferdinand Hesse, originally from Braunschweig, was initially employed as an editor in Döbeln , Saxony , between 1904 and 1905 , and in 1906 he took over the position of features editor of the Zittauer Nachrichten , which he held until 1917. In 1913 Ferdinand Hesse traveled to the Balkans as a correspondent for various Berlin newspapers, and in 1922 to Czechoslovakia .

After Ferdinand Hesse worked as editor of the weekly magazine Zittauer Rundschau in 1919 and 1920 , he worked from 1923 to 1931 as a journalist and publisher in Ebersbach and in Hirschberg in the Giant Mountains . Ferdinand Hesse then lived as a freelance writer , most recently in Ebersbach.

Ferdinand Hesse founded the Oybiner Waldtheater in 1911, the open-air theater at the town hall in Görlitz the following year and the natural theater in Hammer am See in 1915 . His literary works include short stories, novels , short stories , plays , stories , essays , comedies , children's books , stories and poetry .
