Ferdinand Martini (actor)
Ferdinand Martini (born September 1, 1870 in Munich , † December 23, 1930 in Berlin ) was a German actor .
Life
Martini started his first engagement in Reichenhall in 1890 . In the course of his theater career he has appeared in Bremen , Prague , Nuremberg , Vienna and Munich, among others . He was particularly successful in plays by Ludwig Anzengruber and Ferdinand Raimund .
After the First World War, Martini became a busy silent film actor who appeared as a supporting actor in numerous films. He died while filming his second and final talky-about film Her Highness Orders . His son Otto Martini (1902–1979) became a cameraman. His son, his grandson. Ronald Martini (* 1928) also made documentary, research and industrial films.
