Ferdinand Schröppel

Ferdinand Schröppel (born August 5, 1902 in Sindolsheim , † September 8, 1973 in Tübingen ) was a German pharmacist .

Life

After studying natural sciences and mathematics at the University of Heidelberg for 4 semesters , Schröppel was a pharmacist intern in Wertheim from 1924 to 1926 . One year as an assistant in a Szczecin Pharmacy joined from 1927 to 1929, the pharmaceutical studies at the University of Tuebingen in, which also in 1932 with a dissertation on the botanical Dr. rer. nat. received his doctorate.

From 1937 to 1939 Schröppel managed the Löwen-Apotheke in Freudenstadt and then leased the Bartholomäus-Apotheke in Markgröningen (1939) and the Hof-Apotheke in Sigmaringen (1947), until he received the license to open the Löwen-Apotheke in Tübingen in 1950, which he directed until 1969.

Over several decades, Schröppel had made many significant contributions to various pharmaceutical disciplines through his voluntary work. From 1948 to 1969 Schröppel was a member of the committee for the pharmaceutical preliminary examination for the administrative districts of North Wuerttemberg and South Wuerttemberg-Hohenzollern and from 1950 to 1971 he was an honorary pharmacist at the regional council of Tübingen .
