Ferdinand Graf von Alvensleben (born January 23, 1803 in Gardelegen (Isenschnibbe), † July 11, 1889 in Erxleben ) was a landowner and member of the Prussian manor house .

Ferdinand von Alvensleben came from the Low German noble family von Alvensleben . Born as a younger son of Valentin Joachim von Alvensleben (1752-1827) and Dorothea Schenk von Flechtingen (1769-1850) was educated in the Monastery of Our Lady in Magdeburg, the forestry and hunting Academy in Dreißigacker in Meiningen . In 1822 he volunteered in what would later become the Guard Rifle Battalion , became an officer in the Guard Cuirassier Regiment in 1823 and, after his father's death, took over the management of his Erxleben I and Eimersleben estates , which he had inherited by lot.

By cabinet order of October 15, 1840, he received the title of count, which was linked to the undivided ownership of the Erxleben I and Eimersleben estates. Upon presentation of the old and fortified property of the Altmark , he was appointed to the Prussian mansion for life on December 16, 1854 . In 1879 he was appointed to the Real Privy Council with the title "Excellence". He was an honorary knight of the Order of St. John .

His marriage to Pauline von der Schulenburg (1810-1882) from Priemern had nine children, including the district administrator Friedrich Joachim von Alvensleben (1833-1912), the ambassador Friedrich Johann Graf von Alvensleben (1836-1913) and the abbess of the monastery Stift zum Heiligengrabe Margarethe von Alvensleben (1840-1899).
