The FERI AG is a company of asset management for private and institutional clients based in the Hessian Bad Homburg . It is a subsidiary of the listed MLP AG , Wiesloch .

history

In December 1987 the company was founded as FERI Financial & Economic Research Institute GmbH based in Bad Homburg. The company was changed to FERI Financial & Economic Research International GmbH in June 1988.

At the same time, the two areas of research and asset management were established. In November 1990 the FERI Trust Gesellschaft für Finanzplanung mbH was founded, with a focus on asset management with investment funds.

In January 1995 the international activities were expanded with offices in New York (Feri Corp.) and Paris (Feri Sarl). Subsequently, in October 1996, with the establishment of FERI Institutional Management GmbH as an investment advisor, the institutional business was strengthened.

Then FERI Private Equity GmbH (later FERI Alternative Assets GmbH) was founded in January 2000 as a specialist in private equity and hedge fund activities for the Feri Group.

In September 2006 MLP AG acquired a 56.6 percent stake in FERI AG's capital.

In 2007, today's FERI Trust (Luxembourg) SA was founded as the basis for the Luxembourg platform services as a wholly owned subsidiary.

In April 2008 the establishment of the FERI Trust carried Switzerland to improve the management of existing and new customers (private and institutional) in the Alpine country and in October of that year, which was the Vienna office of the FERI to improve the management of existing and new customers in Austria opens .

The Harald Quandt Holding GmbH as a former major shareholder withdrew from the shareholders of FERI AG.

In spring 2011, MLP AG took over the remaining shares as planned and thus holds 100 percent of the share capital of FERI AG.

In 2012 and 2013, real estate management was expanded through participation in CORESIS Management GmbH (direct investments in German real estate).

With effect from July 1, 2015, FERI Trust AG (Switzerland) and Michel & Cortesi Asset Management AG merged. The future company bundled the expertise of both companies and operated under the name Michel & Cortesi Asset Management AG (MCAM).

FEREAL AG, which specializes in alternative assets, received approval as a capital management company (KVG) in 2015.

In 2016 FERI EuroRating Services AG was sold to the Scope Group .
