Holiday with a whale is an American film drama from the year 1977 .

Little Joey loves fish more than anything. To watch them, he secretly invades Marineland . When he is caught, the "Doc" employed there gives him permission to help out in the park. When his mother and aunt learn of killer whale training , they are determined to dissuade Joey from his passion. But this cannot be deterred. When Joe runs away from home because of the ban, gets into distress and only a dolphin can save him, his relatives are also convinced that working with marine animals is a good thing.

The film was released in Canada in December 1976 and in the United States in February 1977. The German dubbed version was created in 1981 by FFS Film- & Fernseh-Synchron GmbH, Munich . Main actor William Shatner is spoken by Klaus Kindler .
