Abby Dalton

Abby Dalton (born August 15, 1935 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American actress .

Life

Dalton spent her childhood in Los Angeles , then her family moved to Panama , where she lived for three years. She took dance lessons as a teenager and also worked as a mannequin and actress. She was eventually discovered for the film during a stage show in a nightclub. Between 1959 and 1962 she starred alongside Jackie Cooper , the role of Lt. Martha Hale in the multiple Emmy nominated series Hennesey . She gained fame with international television audiences in the role of Julia Cumson in the television series Falcon Crest from 1981 to 1986. She also had guest roles in various television series, including Murder is Her Hobby , Love Boat and Hotel .

Abby Dalton is married to the computer dealer Jack Smith. Both have three children together. Her daughter Kathleen Kinmont is also an actress and was married to Lorenzo Lamas , who played Dalton's son Lance on the Falcon Crest series . Her hobbies include tennis, skiing and cooking. She lives in Encino , California with her husband .
