Fernando Macedo da Silva (born April 20, 1982 in A Coruña ), better known as Nano , is a Spanish football player who plays as a left winger for Racing de Ferrol .
Career
At the age of 16 , Nano , who played for FC Barcelona reserves , was considered a talent with a great future. At the age of 17 he made his debut for the first team of FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup against FC Valencia . He played his first league game as a substitute on the 1st matchday of the 1999/00 season in a 2-0 win against Real Saragossa . On October 27, 1999, he played for FC Barcelona in the Champions League game against AIK Solna . This made Nano the youngest ever FC Barcelona player to play in the premier class . Bojan has now broken this record. Subsequently, its development stagnated and Nano came back to a league use for Barça only in the 2002/03 season .
He did not want to be satisfied with his regular place at FC Barcelona B , the second team of FC Barcelona, and consequently moved to Atlético Madrid in 2003 . His first season at Atlético, in which he scored five goals in 27 league appearances, went well with qualifying for the 2004 UI Cup . In his second season at Atlético, he started only three times and left the club at the end of the season to move to Getafe FC . The same fate flourished at Getafe in the 2005/06 season, where he was only three times in the starting lineup in eight league appearances.
His relegation to a middle-class striker continued incessantly in 2006 with the move to the Segunda División club FC Cádiz . Nano was regularly used at this club, but was relegated to the third Spanish league in his second season . In 2008 Nano moved to the Spanish third division Racing de Ferrol , where he recommended himself with his appealing performance for a transfer to the second division CD Numancia for the 2009/10 season.
After three years and 90 league games in Numancia, he joined the CA Osasuna in the summer of 2012 .
