The Ferrell Nunatak is a 1615 m high nunatak in Queen Elizabeth Land in West Antarctica . In the Pensacola Mountains, 8 km northeast of the Elmers-Nunatak, it penetrates the ice masses of the Iroquois Plateau .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1955 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after James T. Ferrell, a construction mechanic at Ellsworth Station in the Antarctic winter of 1958.
