Fire station

The Baden-Baden fire brigade is the municipal fire brigade of the city of Baden-Baden . It is divided into an operations department with full-time workers and 10 operations departments of the volunteer fire department , as well as an age department and a youth fire department .

The Baden-Baden fire brigade is assigned to the order and security department of Department 3 of the city of Baden-Baden. The fire chief is the head of the fire department. Subordinate to it are the administration, the departments of operational organization and preventive fire protection , technology and workshops as well as the operational departments.

Full-time department

The full-time department consists of 49 fire brigade officers who permanently manned the fire station in two guard departments and day duty. In addition to the emergency service with around 1,600 missions per year, the emergency officers do their duty in the departments of emergency organization, preventive fire protection and technology as well as in the workshops for vehicles, equipment technology, electrical engineering and protective equipment and in the fire brigade control center.

The full-time fire brigade members do their duty in the fire station in 24 hour shifts. The fire fighting train consists of a command vehicle (ELW 1), a rescue group vehicle (HLF 20) and a turntable ladder (DLK 23/12) or other special vehicles and is manned by eight people.

Volunteer firefighter

The volunteer fire brigade consists of 10 operational departments, the youth fire brigade (in all operational departments) and the age department. The emergency departments of the volunteer fire brigade are deployed around 330 times a year. The assignments are processed independently or together with the full-time department.
