Fiad ( Hungarian Bánffytelep ) is a village in the Bistrița-Năsăud district in Romania . It is part of the Telciu municipality .

location

Fiad is located in northern Transylvania on the Sălăuța River . The Drum național 17C runs through the village and the Salva – Vișeu de Jos railway high up on the mountainside . The district capital Bistrița in the south is 52 km away. To the north, the border with Maramureș County is 17 km away.
