Fell Garvie was a British indie rock band from Norwich , England , who are classified as shoegazing . There was obviously no official breakup, there have been no releases since 2006 and the band's website has been offline for several years.

history

Anne Reekie and Adam Green previously played together in a band called Passing Clouds , which released two EPs in the early 1990s . Along with Jude Bugden and Graham "Greg" McGeoch, who also played with his band Jane Pow! In the early 1990s . published several records and later published two singles with his Anglo-Japanese formation Hyper Kinako in the 2000s , they founded Fiel Garvie in 1996 and played as a quartet for a long time.

In the year it was founded, the label Foundling released its debut single, followed by two more singles. There were also first contributions to the sampler . In 1999 the British independent label Noisebox Records released the debut album ¡Vuka Vuka! .

In 2002 Emma Corlett joined as a keyboardist. The second album Leave Me Out Of This was released again in 2003 on their own label Foundling , but also on the US label Words On Musik in Minneapolis and on the German label Alison Records in Lüneburg . It was rated album of the month by online magazine Chainsaw Beats in September 2003. The album was produced by Phil Vinall , who also took over the sound engineering and production of other songs in the band. The post on Chainsaw Beats states that the debut album ¡Vuka Vuka! "Multiple award-winning" was, but not carried out further.

With Words On Music , the third and apparently final album was released in 2006 then Caught Laughing .
