The Fierro Point (English; Spanish Punta Fierro ) is a headland of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located southwest of Vidal Rock on the southwest shore of Discovery Bay and separates the Ensenada Basullo in the northwest from the Ensenada Ramos in the southeast.
Participants of the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947–1948) named the headland after a member of the expedition. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 2005.
