Figueiredo is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
Figueiredo belongs to the Guimarães county in the Braga district . The community had an area of 2.06 km² and 437 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The community is only slightly urbanized.
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Figueiredo, Leitões and Oleiros were merged to form the new community União das Freguesias de Leitões, Oleiros e Figueiredo .
