Vicente García Bernal

Vicente García Bernal (born April 5, 1929 in Fresnillo ; † November 26, 2017 in Ciudad Obregón , Sonora ) was a Mexican clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Ciudad Obregón .

Life

Vicente García Bernal was ordained a priest on April 4, 1953 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Ciudad Obregón on March 30, 1988. The Apostolic Delegate in Mexico , Girolamo Prigione , donated him episcopal ordination on May 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Luis Reynoso Cervantes , Bishop of Cuernavaca , and Javier Lozano Barragán , Bishop of Zacatecas .

On November 8, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
