Filippo Aglialoro

Filippo Aglialoro (born December 2, 1900 in Ventimiglia di Sicilia , Italy , † February 4, 1988 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Palermo .

Life

Filippo Aglialoro received on 14 April 1923, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On October 5, 1957, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Germa in Galatia and auxiliary bishop in Palermo. The Archbishop of Palermo, Ernesto Cardinal Ruffini , donated him episcopal ordination on November 30th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Monreale , Francesco Carpino , and the Bishop of Mazara del Vallo , Gioacchino Di Leo .

Aglialoro participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council . Pope Paul VI accepted Filippo Aglialoro's resignation on February 9, 1977.
