The Ice Age boulder , also known as David's stone , in the district of Teusin in the Utzedel municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was exposed in 2016. With a volume of around 84 m 3 and a calculated mass of 226 tons, it is the second largest boulder in the district after the Great Stone of Altentreptow. Like the Altentreptower stone, it consists of hammer granite from the area around Hammeren, from the north of the island of Bornholm and was probably brought to its current location by glaciers during the Vistula Ice Age .

The stone is located in the middle of an agriculturally used area around 2 kilometers southwest of Teusin near the Hohenmocker municipality border . It is around 1 kilometer away from the Strehlow district . The Berlin – Stralsund railway runs to the west of the boulder at a distance of around 70 meters .

The location of the boulder, the tip of which protruded from the ground, was known, but not its size. As David's stone, it was the subject of a legend that was printed in the supplement Am Pommerschen Herd of the Demminer Tageblatt in 1920 . After this David threw the stone at Goliath and killed the huge warrior with it.

In 2006 the stone, which had not previously been mentioned in geological literature, was re-localized by an amateur geologist. It was classified as a geological natural monument by the nature conservation authority of the former Demmin district . In February 2016, the boulder was largely uncovered and measured under the supervision of the Environmental Office of the Mecklenburg Lake District.

Because of some small depressions on the upper side, the boulder is classified as a bowl stone and is protected as a ground monument with the site number 19 for the Teusin district.
