Finnish Athletics Championships 1918
The Finnish Athletics Championships 1918 , also called Kaleva Games 1918 ( Finnish Kalevan kisat 1918 ), took place on August 31 and September 1 at the Eläintarhan kenttä stadium in Helsinki . The championship in the decathlon took place in Helsinki on September 14th and 15th.
In addition, further championships in athletic disciplines took place in 1918:
- September 14th and 15th: Finnish Relay Championships and Athletics Championships for Women in Helsinki
- December 8th: Finnish Standing Diving Championships in Helsinki
The standing jump championships were postponed to December due to the civil war . Only four athletes took part in the three competitions. The cross country championship was canceled because of the civil war.
